totally get it!! lil tako is the perfect pre-baby nickname <3 in a lot of asian cultures, people don’t share the baby’s real name until after birth - so everyone uses a cute nickname the parents choose like ‘bean’ in the meantime. makes it all feel extra tender. i’m not a mama yet, but i’ve always been the go-to auntie for my friends’ kiddos. i’ve worked with babies, school-aged kids, and even volunteered in pediatric wards. growing up, i was regularly taking care of 5–10 kids, 4–7 years younger than me - so the ‘motherly’ title has definitely followed me around 😂

i do have a cat, though and she gets all the overflowing love i don’t know where else to put!!! 💛
