we have so many great projects, including Farcaster, that while creating massive value for others are struggling to make any money

they just don't have an effective business model

so why don't we build a mechanism in crypto you make money based on how valuable your contribution is?

I mean, it doesn't have to be perfectly precise. We can both agree that something is valuable, and agree on an estimate of how valuable it is. You can also do that at the community scale (just like we already do at the company scale). We shouldn't let the perfect be an enemy of the good.

Mike … The question is how to define value. For some, it will be the emotional stream it brings to oneself, for others it can be a non profit project locally, for others, at a Humanity scale, how to leave an a better environment for upcoming generations etc …
