in a coffee shop line watching a grandfather play with his granddaughter and it hit me how incredible it is that, for some of us, life gives us the chance to experience our parents “parenting”, to see their tenderness and inner child at play with our own children why are there tears coming out of my eyes

One of the most special moments I will ever have is getting to watch the surprise on my In-laws faces. They were flying in to visit us and meet Royal Heir, their first grandchild. @fairygodmother and I surprised them at the airport. It was a truly once in a lifetime moment.

maybe because you don’t see it more. maybe a reflexive reaction to how lost our hyper digita/ individualized society is becoming to sustaining these simple, life-affirming norms.
