Besu users are down right now, but a fix is being deployed. You can wait for a fix, switch clients, or use the Rescue Node (rescuenode.com) Cool data point though - initial drop in participation was 4%, so that's likely what % of validating nodes are using Besu. It has since dropped to 2% likely cuz of failovers

Agreed on both points (framing & crypto take) Really love the analysis of the cycle and the thorough examples used. Is this just an inherent flaw of ad-driven revenue models + capitalism? Is this solved if the revenue model is customer subscription?

Look at either Seveneves or Fall, both by Neal Stephenson. I often give them as gifts. Or, if you're really looking for a commitment, dig into the Revelation Space universe by Alastair Reynolds. It'll change your life. ;)
