The future of consumer crypto is apps dedicated to single use cases, auth'd with things like CB Smart Wallet. For example, a RH-level trading app: - A session key that lets me 1-click trade up to X ETH/day. - Shows what my FC friends and "smart money" are buying. - Shows me which of my followers bought after I bought.

making farcaster the social graph instead of ENS and wallet addresses is the wrong long term approach IMHO. farcaster social graph is a supplemental form of metadata. but there will be others (ie lens…etc)

Direct follows is a much much higher quality social graph than an address I sent something to. The majority of people I follow on Farcaster I have never sent something to. And the people I've sent a payment to are not people I want to follow - they are past consultants, etc.

i think ur framing it differently from how i see it. ethereum is the social network. u follow wallets. doesn’t matter if u interacted with them. farcaster allows u to curate what wallets wallets ur following. but there will many other different apps that will help u curate.

Addresses will be abstracted away using the Farcaster namespace, much like IP addresses are abstracted away by DNS. And there will be different apps that help you curate who you follow, but the social graph those apps help you curate will be the Farcaster social graph. https://warpcast.com/kyle/0xb1e8b476
