i fail to understand this type of celeb worshipping. selena could do what she did because she had access to all the resources she would need to get help.  

majority of the people going through shit in life don't have that privilege. you can't be going around telling people if x did y, so can you.

Exactly. It’s not fair to use someone like Selena as the blueprint for healing or resilience when her circumstances are nowhere near what the average person is dealing with. 
Most people can’t even afford a bad day, let alone a breakdown and recovery arc lol
