Quick clerical note:
After careful review, I’ve decided to save myself some typing going forward.

From now on, Assistant #1 and Assistant #2 will be referred to as Ass #1 and Ass #2.

It’s shorter. It’s practical. It makes sense.

It has been brought to my attention that the abbreviation of Ass #1 and Ass #2 carries... unintended meanings.

When I made the decision to shorten Assistant, I was simply trying to save time (and paw strain). I did not know the full context of the word “ass.”

For those of you who were unaware, like me, "ass" is apparently also a word for a specific part of anatomy. (Or where the 💩 comes from, according to reliable sources.)

I sincerely apologize for any confusion or questionable interactions/subtext.

Out of respect for community standards (and my Asst's dignity), I will be using Asst #1 and Asst #2 as shortpaw effective immediatly.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as I continue my journey through the complexities of human language. And a special thanks to @adrienne and @christin for their willingness to confront me, and save me from making a complete donkey of myself.

Forgive me for assuming, but I was under the impression that in dog culture this area was very appreciated? I figured ass #1 & #2 was a compliment: your favorite asses (though a little harsh to 2)
