Crypto has been sponsoring f1 for quite some years now. Mostly for titles but would love to see how the tech can actually be implemented to help teams

Haha, it’s tough. probably only brands related to vehicles can actually be applied in ways that truly help the teams.

as the most profitable companies in the crypto industry are the CEXs, they’re the ones with the money to sponsor and the desire for more exposure. Projects that could actually offer technical solutions for the teams probably find it hard to get into this capital-driven game.

Teams use a lot of data and security is definitely one of their top priorities so right now cybersecurity firms are their customers. Most crypto sponsors I can see are exchanges and “shitty” projects like tezos and some other obscure coins so they just want to have more exposure instead of helping teams with integrating blockchain into their work unfortunately
