Great piece, it explains why some people join Farcaster and then depart. usually, I'm someone who prefers Optimism Over Despair. Similarly, those who stay here have their own reasons. I believe Farcaster is still very much in its infancy, and the potential of its open protocol is far from fully realized. It has grown with crypto and is now facing challenges alongside it. The cozy corners may be small but they are gradually expanding. The upper-layer applications, like Legos, are just beginning to be built. Most importantly, as long as there are builders involved, there is hope for Farcaster and its ecosystem.

I've never seen anybody make the comparisons mentioned in the first part of the article, but the rest of the criticisms mentioned are pretty apt
