Why did you become a co-founder of Calaxy?

and since both Calaxy and Farcaster are social apps, based on your experience, what feels different between the Calaxy app and the Farcaster app?

Farcaster has been a refreshing experience! The conversations feel authentic and there’s a strong sense of community that you don’t always find on other platforms. With Calaxy, the focus is on giving creators their own space and tools to own their audience, while Farcaster acts as a broader discovery layer. Together they complement each other well.

A few years back I experimented with tokenizing my NBA contract, and @soloceesay  was the one who really helped me think through how it could work. That experience showed me both the potential and the challenges of bringing blockchain into the world of sports and entertainment. We realized that if athletes and creators could have the right tools, they could actually own their audiences and revenue streams instead of giving up control to middlemen. That’s what led us to build Calaxy.
