No it was deeper than that, though slightly different. Personally knew a few folks who didn’t let their kids watch. Teletubbies was the first ‘this is actually tuning my kid into a freak’ as far as i can remember.

But anyway tv can be bad for kids and it’s the right instinct to speak out on something if they feel like it’s making their kid antisocial.
