it was explicitly mentioned in the second NNS proposal and included as a budget line item though?

i get wanting to control the narrative but the facts simply don’t align with the statement

it says (in bold) “NOGS has no price, no Liquidity Pool, no exchange.”

and i’m the one being dishonest about $nogs not being what we funded?

That’s true of most coins before they launch though. Development was funded by the prop though, even if it evolved from there. It feels fair to me to say the project had Nouns funding, but I’m an outsider looking in.

from what i can gather $nogs was launched a couple of days ago and the prop was from 4 months ago?

what @noun40 said. $nogs were always around, PartyDAO crowdfunding is recent which is where the LP came from, details about tokenomics etc are all recent. 

Most the team focus seems like had been on building out the token vs NNS itself which didn't have enough traction, which is fine different story.

i think nogs was already launched when we were voting for this prop (the previous prop didn’t mention a token). bc ppl were skeptical about the new token it was framed as this non financial just fun social thing. it’s really a stretch to say that this prop was an endorsement of nogs or funding of its development
