🎟️🪂 Pump Fun Presale Is it Worth It? Will there be an Airdrop? On July 12th there will be the Pump Fun presale (12-15 July). Obviously we all hope there will also be an airdrop for the community that has used the platform in the last year. There should be an airdrop because rival platforms (for example Bonk Fun) are draining volumes... it would not be a great idea to make your users angry. PRESALE Do not reason with the FDV as many users do on X. FDV has no meaning at the listing but it is an important long term metric. Presale plans to sell 150B of $Pump (15% of total circulating) at 0.004$. Essentially you are buying a token with a market cap of 600M. It is a decent market cap, they are not giving you tokens at a low price. Forget about a possible 15-20x at the listing. To give you an idea, Hyperliquid (similar in revenues: for example 57M and 36M, last 30D) launched at about 1B of market cap, even if it now sits at 13B.

Consider that there will probably be an airdrop so if another 15% of supply was given...at $0.004 we would have a market cap of 1.2B. AIRDROP DISCUSSIONS There are about 5M unique addresses with at least 1k of volume, to make airdrop decent and decentralized it would be necessary to: 1) Use "tiers" distribution for volumes (not linear): $100-1k=X $Pump, 1k-10k= Y $Pump , 10k-100k= Z $Pump, etc. 2) Insert hard cap (max number of tokens per address). 3) Enter trading activity in different months (trading in at least 3 or 4 different months and number of tokens received increases as the months of activity increase). 4) Trading different tokens (smart contract) increases the tokens you receive. 5) Boost for token creators. 6) Balance check (have a balance of at least $50 in $Sol or $Usdc or Liquid Staking Sol or $Jup, etc in the wallet).
