does anyone else just like…not feel good about their real name lol

i know most of you don’t know the name my parents gave me. it’s a nice name in theory but it’s too long and usually pronounced in a weird way that makes me recoil. and most of the shorted versions people use i also dislike. i would almost compare this to some kind of dysmorphia if i may be so bold. 

i just like my pseudonym more even if it’s weird 😐 at least i picked it myself and it’s pronounceable

This is so interesting that you mention this. I recently watched a video of a channeller talking about how some people don’t naturally love or accept their names because it’s connected to past life experiences and the soul’s journey. The idea was that every word and especially names carries its own energy, so the name you choose (or resonate with) isn’t random.

Both of my parents are really particular about names. I love mine, but I still ended up shortening it
