ok, but wouldn't account value always be > post value? Seems logical that a single post is always gonna be less valuable than the whole account.

Yes, in reality that would make sense. But for the formula I am using that is true for accounts with more than 10K followers, as for smaller accounts there could be engaement on few posts without leading to follower growth
