read somewhere that this year’s amazon prime day was a flop show. but then how do you justify this? and this picture is just the inside of the package room in my building. there were more packages outside this room and in the lockers. crazy!

during code reviews i used to check if my teammate introduced a bug. now i check if their AI deleted an entire business logic because it thinks it’s not needed anymore. life hasn’t changed much

shower thought: why do shampoo and conditioner always come in the same size bottles? is it just so they look symmetrical on the shelf? as i look at the lined-up, quarter-filled conditioner bottles that never got used because the shampoo finished sooner

only junior devs deploy major code changes to prod the evening before a long weekend. they haven’t yet felt the pain of spending their entire weekend debugging their own mistakes. and the thing is you only really learn by making those mistakes yourself
