Around 100 bots casted this exact content from @tayyab over the past 12hrs on farcaster No recast / quote / attribution. They are programmatically stealing othersā€™ content trying to catch viral waves or rewards Farcaster does a good job filtering out most of this spam, but navigating it is still a major obstacle when building on decentralized social

Successful advanced phishing requests for Mercury customers using Google Ads It appears the scammers were able to leverage Google Search advertising infrastructure to appear legitimate through the link preview feature Always thought it was kindof lame to have to buy your own brand's keywords. But we've moved beyond that era to one where across Google, X, Amazon, Reddit, IG, TikTok, NYT, ChatGPT, SMS... nothing can be blindly trusted anymore. It's going to get wilder with AI before widespread adoption of personalized trust tools solves this.
