(1/4) BACKGROUND The Clanker Index is a synthetic index fund envisioned to provide holders exposure to the Top 25 Clanker tokens by market cap, such as $ANON, $LUM and $BLONDE amongst others. MEMETICINDEX The Clanker Index is the debut vehicle from memeticindex(dot)com, a platform for innovative onchain synthetic index funds. Distributions, if any, are intended to be airdropped or made claimable monthly to token-holder wallets, allocated pro-rata based on individual holdings and the index’s collective performance across the Top 25 tokens.

@jasonmeinzer Proposal for Clanker Index Distributions 1- Data Collection: Use Dune.com (https://dune.com) to export a list of the Top 50 holders with their balances. Publish the list in a publicly shared Google Sheets document. 2- Distribution with Disperse: Use Disperse.app (https://disperse.app) to send tokens in batches. It’s fast, reliable, and requires no additional development. Publish the TX hashes in the community group to ensure transparency. 3- (optional) Decentralized Option: Use a DAO via Aragon (https://aragon.org) or Snapshot (https://snapshot.org) to vote and manually execute distributions. This ensures decentralization and allows for community oversight. Both options are simple, transparent, and meet the requirements.

High-Level Framework for $CLANKERINDEX Distributions (v1): 1 -Data Preparation: Automate snapshot creation of the top wallets using scripts (e.g., Python) to ensure real-time accuracy, generating a JSON/CSV file for validation. 2- Smart Contract: Deploy a minimalistic Solidity contract that supports batch distributions, with input validation and gas optimization. 3- Execution: Use tools like Remix or ethers.js for deployment and test transactions on a testnet to ensure accuracy. 4- Transparency: Publish snapshots and transaction details on IPFS or dashboards (e.g., Dune Analytics) to ensure accountability. 5- Iterative Improvements: Collect feedback post-distribution to refine the process for future rounds.

Data Preparation (Off-Chain): The data for the Top 50 wallets and their respective distribution amounts is prepared manually (e.g., using Google Sheets or CSV). A final file containing the addresses and amounts is uploaded to the smart contract using no-code interface tools like Remix. Smart Contract for Distribution: A minimalist Solidity contract allows distributions to the Top 50 wallets in a single transaction or in small batches to reduce costs. Transparency and Verification: Distribution data (addresses and amounts) is published in the smart contract or displayed on a public dashboard generated using tools like Dune Analytics.

Hey Jason, off topic but will you make a TG for the project? Any other steps you’re currently making apart from the distribution model? Really like the concept.
