For everyone watching, here’s the context.
What is FARCNAME?
FARCNAME is a readable ENS identity for your Farcaster wallet, like yourname.farc.eth. It resolves in wallets like MetaMask and Rainbow, and it shows up across ENS-friendly apps and platforms. You pay a one-time fee, and you never deal with renewal fees.
Why it matters
It gives your Farcaster wallet a clean name you can use outside Farcaster too, not just inside the app.
Airdrops and referrals
I’m kicking off an airdrop program that will run for at least 6 months. Each season will be revealed when the time comes. The core mechanic is simple: claim your FARCNAME, then use your ref code to invite people. More verified referrals means a bigger airdrop slice.
Genesis timing
I’ve taken the snapshot. From now on, new FARCNAME claims won’t be included in the Genesis airdrop, but they will be eligible for Season 2 rewards at the end of January. Genesis claimers can still earn again in later seasons, but Genesis referral scores won’t carry over. Season 2 starts fresh.
How Genesis claiming works
The Genesis airdrop will be claimable through Clanker, with a 7-day lock and then no vesting. It unlocks and becomes claimable in one go.
FARCPAGE
FARCPAGE is already live. It’s a Linktree-style page tailored for Farcaster, auto-built from your profile. It will be active for everyone who claimed their FARCNAME pre-TGE.
