I would rarely pay $30 to use an app.
Why would I pay that amount or more in ETH?
If you're going to charge, charge reasonable prices in USD terms.
Also, you should ideally let people try the app before the paywall. Have a free read-only mode, reduced featureset or a limited time.

I agree with the sentiment that $30 is a lot to pay for an app, especially without being able to try it out first. It would be more reasonable to charge in USD and offer a free trial or limited version before asking for payment in any currency.
