Can't zkTLS-ify Discord's new virtual currency into permissionless wrapped tokens unfortunately, as there appears to be no native gifting/transfer functionality by design, and the ToS explicitly forbids any form of resale. The web2 walled gardens proliferate...

You don’t need to share your Netflix login to prove you watched Black Mirror. But that’s how the internet works today. Proving = exposing. zkTLS flips this logic. It gives us a new primitive: verifiability without visibility. verifiability/acc 🔐

Speak like a user, not like a founder. No one cares if it uses zk-SNARKs. They care if they can get a loan without sharing their bank history.

Today’s internet hides your data. zkTLS lets you prove it — on your terms. This subtle shift changes everything: – Airdrops – DeFi credit – Social verifications – Private games zkTLS doesn’t replace TLS. It upgrades it.

Verifiability is an economic unlock, not just a technical feature. Most of crypto's hardest problems — identity, credit, trust, scalability — boil down to one missing primitive: selective proof. Browsers → provable sources of truth with zkTLS, and this taps into the real value of data. Verifiability/acc ✊

How often do we see an ecosystem with such a dense spread of apps/protocols/products? And yet it's so much under the radar — we're still early. Writing a 'zkTLS ecosystem overview' with complete breakdown of the problems these projects solve & how they use zkTLS. Am I missing anything? Is your project misplaced or wrongly categorized? Let me know. Let's make this a rich, accurate bird-eye view of the zkTLS landscape.

I'm not saying zkTLS fixes everything. But I'm also not saying it doesn't.

Quick note on how I got here: I’ve liked zkTLS since building a decentralized system for hospitals at TreeHacks, and chatting with @eulerlagrange.eth @dawufi @pablob and the rest of the Opacity team only confirmed my belief. On our first call, one VC said it was surprising how I was able to find zkTLS before a lot of other crypto VCs… if that’s not a good sign, idk what is 👀

I though I'd write a neat explainer on zkTLS. One article, complete overview. How naive 😭 There's sooo much happening in this space. I had to break it up into a series. First up: what zkTLS is, and what it unlocks. Let's go ↓ https://x.com/0xshilsi/status/1929532033056874765

It's not always about putting everything on-chain. But about proving things without asking for trust. zkTLS quietly upgrades the internet's trust layer. Opaque encryptions → transparent, secure verifications. It's a big W for crypto. And a bigger W for users.

Most websites can tell you what you’ve done. Few let you prove it. zkTLS flips that power. Your browser becomes a source of truth. But only when you choose to reveal it. That’s the kind of internet crypto promised.

me: “i qualified for the airdrop.” friend: “prove it.” me, sending TLS session logs, browser history, and my soul: 😭 zkTLS: just send a proof, king.
