Interesting proposal for Zcash: enable offchain execution with onchain zk verification via a new tx type where UTXOs are locked by a zk proof. This could enable trustless bridges, and thanks to Zcash’s native Halo2 support it would be relatively easy to integrate. https://forum.zcashcommunity.com/t/proposal-trustless-bridging-for-zcash/53884

still convinced TEE + cryptoeconomic is a bad idea. Execution must rely on math. TEE + ZK for correctness + ZK-enforced cryptoeconomics is the combo

Been thinking a lot about what it means to scale privacy on @giftr for gifts sent IRL via USPS or UPS. Especially as I start onboarding merchants who will handle fulfillment for their own products. Every order on @giftr is end-to-end encrypted. Shipping addresses are never stored in plaintext. They are only decrypted once to create a shipping label, then re-encrypted and auto-deleted. Some recipients still prefer having gifts sent to a UPS Access Point instead of home. It’s more friction (extra trip, 7-day hold, higher cost) but it offers peace of mind so I get it. This delivery option feels like the “cold storage” equivalent for shipping. 🧊 UPS Access Point = cold storage → less convenient, more secure, no risk of a hack/device compromise 🔥 Home delivery = hot wallet → more convenient, still safe if you trust the system/project and their protocols My goal is to make home delivery on @giftr just as private so people can safely send or receive gifts without sacrificing comfort or convenience. This matters for merchants too. Many don’t want the liability of storing customer data. Giftr’s design keeps the trust surface small, protecting both senders and merchants. I think there’s a real ZK use case here and would love to collaborate with teams building privacy-preserving primitives. Questions I’m exploring: 1️⃣ How can merchants fulfill orders without local decryption? 2️⃣ How can buyers or recipients verify an address was only decrypted once? 3️⃣ Do any frameworks exist where different actors (platform, merchant, carrier) each hold minimal knowledge yet the system still works end-to-end? 4️⃣ Are there privacy standards or certifications that make it easier to prove compliance to users and partners (a “ZK-verified merchant” badge)? For context, UPS Access Point delivery isn’t available (or affordable) everywhere globally. So solving for trusted home delivery also unlocks scalability and lowers shipping costs. ➡️ Would love intros, ideas, or frameworks from anyone building in this space

does anyone have an insight on how are prover networks doing? and how do they compete for GPUs against AI inference use cases?

we’ve reached a level of polarization where it’s radical to give someone else the benefit of the doubt this is prime real estate for the privacy conversation
