they are bringing fable back and it will be a new experience with a sprinkle of nostalgia😭 the original fable was one of the first video games I ever fell in love with (alongside halo) because my friends older brother had an og xbox and would let us watch and play i will never forget being in 3rd grade receiving an xbox 360 and halo 3 for Christmas. Beat the whole game before the day was over. Was the greatest day of my entire life😂 later acquired fable 3 and felt nostalgia for the first time ever, enjoying extremely fond memories from playing Fable 1 and 2 at my friends place this game has an extremely special place in my heart and couldn’t be more excited to experience it all again

Ok real talk! 🗣️ Have been discussing the pros and cons of having games being built on chain with a coworker of mine. 🕹️ One of the points that was stated was the fact that if items are interoperable, by being on chain, what are the incentives of a second company importing the first companies items? 🤔

I don't play video games enough anymore to know whether this is widely acknowledged, but the growing popularity of NewGame+ modes strikes me as really clever design, when you embrace it in full. You get to build an accessible experience for most normal players, and sidestep the usual ego problem. i.e. a large amount of men will only pick the highest available difficulty, much like they will only pick the largest size condoms, so if you truly make maximum maximum, then it's unbalanced for the majority (of males anyway; no idea if the pattern repeats for women, that would be interesting to find out). But as NG+ only starts after the first run is done, no such problem. The casual ego players are gone by then, satisfied with their "max" run1. The remainder is here for the gameplay loop, and (ideally) gets to enjoy an increasingly finetuned experience.
