We do a little day-one accessibility toggles. Every post on my new blog will be available in the theme's sans serif font, as well as Lexend and OpenDyslexic.
As someone with ADD, I've long found benefit in reading with OpenDyslexic. I used it on Pocket, Libby, and a number of other apps. Unfortunately there isn't a lot of scientific backing for it's benefit to dyslexic and other folks who find reading challenging. But for folks like myself who've seen anecdotal benefit, I've still included it.
Lexend on the other hand, has been shown in several studies to improve reading speed and accuracy, reduce cognitive load, and aid with difficulty distinguishing characters for a diverse selection of readers including, in particular those with dyslexia or ADHD.
