Ever wondered what it really takes to keep a web3 mag alive? The truth is, it's not easy, especially when doing it as a community.
Here's this week's BTS at ALANAmagazine, where momentum is a moving target and every small win counts and keeps us rolling. Some weeks, the magic is subtle, but it never dims 💖 .
✅ JavoG brought our Instagram back from the dead! Thank you for putting in the work!
✅ Out of nowhere, one Farcaster post led to new Artizen collectors of ALANAmagazine. If you haven't secured yours yet, you have less than two weeks to do so and get your incentives: https://artizen.fund/index/p/alanamagazine---air-edition?season=5
✅ Thanks to JavoG for speaking about ALANA at events around Monterrey, Mexico. Our little ecosystem suddenly feels a whole lot wider, ranging from upcoming conversations with Polkadot to new and curious faces across the board.
✅ Right after the meeting was over, Sogand Nobahar and I (Stella Achenbach) discovered that our open call for the fashion editorials was well-meant but might not be the most efficient approach to getting our 3D editorials together. We decided to do personal outreach instead in the upcoming weeks. For those who still want to make the best use of the open call, time is ticking (until the 12th of November): https://www.alanamagazine.xyz/editorial-competition
✅ Meanwhile, we argued over ALANAmgazine t-shirt weights and print methods with the same passion we bring to fundraising and product launches. (DTF + vinyl wins, at least for this season. Trust us 🤣 .)
All this—plus constant edits, new posts, and DMs—quietly shapes a movement bigger than any artifact, magazine, or merch drop. Each new collector, each message, and every handshake count and make us feel that we can do this. So, thank you for staying patient with us 🥰!
We will be back with more updates next week. Until then, snag your ALANA artifact, join the movement, and let's rewrite the future of creative publishing one article at a time!
