I think the Clicks Communicator looks really promising but it is starting to piss me off the number of people posting “hands on” videos with a fucking plastic mockup.

I think at some point I’ll get either the Clicks Communicator or Sidephone. Or maybe the ZTE Zinwa (which is a literal refurbished/renewed Blackberry). I’ve talked before about TCL’s NXTPAPER displays and devices. The scale of difficulty in building an EUV (chip making machine) is almost impossible to imagine. China is throwing every possible resource at building this and it will be still likely be 2030 before it produces any working chips. If there was a more compact (around 6”) version of the TCL NXTPAPER 60 Ultra, I’d probably be down to switch from my iPhone. Mostly though I just want them to start licensing out their NXTPAPER 4.0 screen tech to other manufacturers. Seriously watch some YouTube videos about this phone, this tech is incredible.
