purpose
Purpose is a mix of psychology, philosophy, and self-help. We focus on the question, "What is our purpose in life?" The purpose channel is decidedly upbeat, positive, and supportive.

Purpose is the thing that makes me get out of bed every morning. Maybe it's exercise, or breakfast, but today, it's seeing if DEGEN is continuing to moon.

What is it about sadness that gives a sense of realness to life. Why does happiness feel comparatively fake? Maybe my question is wrong. Maybe I’m comparing a state of deep emotion (sadness) with a state of superficial emotion (contentness). But even feelings of Euphoria can feel superficial in retrospect

Hot take: I believe the purpose in life is to live each day the best you can with the current knowledge you have. The idea of a purpose is a mirage.

Welcome to /purpose for 3/29/2024! Who wants to pose a thought provoking purpose-oriented question for the day?

I think the best use of /purpose is for someone (ANYONE) to ask a simple daily question and give everyone a chance to respond. So, here's one: What were you looking forward to when you woke up this morning?

I've been thinking about greed vs fulfillment, and I've recognized that greed is a hollow feeling you feel when you can't get enough. It's because the thing you're seeking isn't really fulfilling. To resist greed, you must fill your life with many things, then you feel fulfilled rather than desperate for more.

I think the concept of yearning is an underrated aspect of life. It's the quiet whispers our intuition is telling us. The yearns quietly dictate us.

I used to ponder a lot about purpose growing up. Then life hit me. Hope this channel nudges me back into it because it may be the most important thing - to have a compass for navigating life.

I have a good ability to get a rudimentary understanding of complex concepts and simplify them for others, usually via analogies. In the crypto space, however, I find myself hesitating to speak out due to so many smarter people being in the room - perhaps I should be less afraid of being wrong.

For a long time I believed my purpose was to be an astronomer. Find the wonder in the universe and share it , but I think I discovered that I don't have the necessary mental capacity or will to actually perform well in that task. So I've been perusing other hobbies for the past few years with a sense of guilt.

The more crypto memes I see the less involved I want to be in crypto. I feel like it’s a huge distraction and leech off newcomers. I understand that they bring a lot of attention but I’m just having a hard time understanding its purpose. What’s your perspective?
