Update: we went a second time and it was total ass. They undercooked my warm chocolate chip cookie and the garlic knots. I think the only time I’m gonna go again is if they have the Thanksgiving turkey bowls, those were always fantastic.

So I live in the Indianapolis area and they opened a Wawa in my suburb a couple weeks ago. Having a Wawa here is nice but tbh it almost feels like part of my past has been desecrated. Like it’s been reanimated into a corpse with modernist makeup. Where are the Tastykakes? Where are the Utz chips? Why tf do we have an app and rewards now? In some ways it kinda lives in part of the past in my head and it’s not where it belongs. Maybe it’s just me. (Not my car btw)

I thought the viral video of the Philadelphia mayor misspelling “Eagles” was fake—like, no way, right? Then I replayed it. And again. And when it sunk in that it was undeniably real, I felt a deep, indescribable sadness… Fly, E-G-L-E-S, fly?
