Should Nogglesboard explore some classic logs in the next wave?
The second frame simulates how one of the discarded artworks from an invited artist could look when applied to the board.
A quick and curious update: some artists developed more than one application option, and for now, a few final decisions are still in progress. That uncertainty will be resolved next week, when we request the silk paper sheets with all finalized artworks (with the exception of Inglitty, who will paint directly on the board using brush and ink). 🍄🧙♂️
The artworks will be applied before the lamination process, ensuring a clean, permanent, and timeless finish embedded into the body of each 7 nounish surfboards or nogglesboard.

Guácala’s work has been part of Cali’s collective imagination for as long as I can remember. Just hearing the name Guácala already triggers a very specific emotion. While I was studying Visual Arts at Universidad del Valle, he was a huge reference for all of us who were trying to find our own voice and develop a personal style.
His grotesque characters, spread across the streets and walls of my city, were a constant presence—and a big reason why I felt drawn to artistic expression in the first place. Those characters gave me permission to explore the “weird” ideas, to trust them, and to never underestimate them just because they felt strange or uncomfortable. They taught me that there’s power in the grotesque, in exaggeration, in leaning into a voice that doesn’t try to be polished or safe.
From admiring his work from afar to now calling him a friend, it feels surreal—and even more special to see him curious and excited about learning more about web3, especially Nouns.

Most DAOs are stuck in voter fatigue. Every tiny decision becomes governance. It’s slow. It’s boring. It kills momentum. Nobody wants to operate anything because ops turns into paperwork.
So what if we stopped pretending every decision deserves a vote.
Grant is a model for agentic small grants.
A pool of funds is set aside.
A group of trusted agents receives lightweight budgets.
Their job is simple: spot good ideas early, fund them quickly, and keep receipts.
No committees.
No endless proposals.
No ritualized bureaucracy.
Every grant comes with public context.
What it was for. Who approved it. What happened after. Reputation becomes the real governance. Good agents get celebrated. Bad agents lose trust and budgets.
You get speed without chaos.
Legibility without paralysis.
Culture that actually moves.
Instead of debating everything forever, the network learns by doing. Hundreds of small experiments. Constant oxygen for builders, artists, weirdos, ops, and public goods.
Grant is not about spending more.
Grant is about spending better.
Let governance handle the few decisions that truly matter. Let agents handle the rest.
