Sporting KC, who at the season start was the easy favorite to win the wooden spoon because THEY DIDNT EVEN HAVE A FULL ROSTER, pulled off a fun, gritty 2-2 tie.
Did they vindicate themselves? Not yet, but there are signs of life.

It’s a vanishingly small thing, but I couldn’t bring myself to watch Leagues Cup because of how MLS has abandoned the far more historically significant Open Cup.

Incredible that Sporting KC pulled out a win like that.
A brace of headers from Dejan & Toye scoring again. We had multiple other chances as well.
Would love for this to be a turning point in the season.

I'm glad for the current team, but Willy Agada & Johnny Russell returning to Children's Mercy is good to see. Two solid dudes who did a lot for the team. Hard to not root for them no matter where they are.

Can barely believe Sporting KC pulled out a stoppage-time win against Charlotte last night. In past years, it's doubtful they would have had that kind of fight and energy in them.
