One year after joining Fern as a Staff Software Engineer, we've been acquired by Rain 🎉 I met the Fern team a little over a year ago and it immediately felt like the perfect fit. Since then, we've been heads down building a platform that makes it seamless for businesses and developers to onramp, offramp, and process crypto payments. I can’t believe it’s been almost 5 years since I moved to Canada and had the opportunity to work at some of today's most consequential technologies, from shipping impactful features to millions of users at Shopify including AI, to diving full time into crypto. I’m in NYC this week for the announcement and to meet the rest of the Rain team. This will also be my first Christmas in Canada in years. After that, I'm looking forward to spending some time with friends and family in Spain.
