Over 1000+ people showed up to the Little Tokyo event in Downtown LA!
Nexon America ran a great community event for MapleStory fans.
All attendees got souvenirs (keychain/lanyard/pin) and the special drinks were tasty.

Modern Maplestory is hyper-optimized for many different things now:
- Boss-fights with friends
- Lots of animations and colors everywhere (max dopamine)
- "Freemium" experiences (get a Pet add-on for free, pay to keep it around)
- Daily quests to keep you coming back

ok finished with day 1 of maplestory new age
thoughts:
1. getting to 3rd job during the first day is cool
2. there are way too many quests
3. it's so easy to get addicted to this (if you let yourself)
4. i miss PQs!! are those still a thing?!

some thoughts on maplestory new age about 2 hours in:
1. it's crazy that you can get to level 40+ just off of a few quests
2. the new skill animations & upgrades are AWESOME
3. when do i get to play with friends and other people?!
4. too much dialogue
