Not a huge guitar player (wish I were), but I do appreciate Japanese craftsmanship. I stooped this Vintage Alvarez Guitar today for free in Brooklyn. Anyone able to share any additional context about it? The way it was stamped and ID'd is abnormal to everything Ive found on google. Its in pretty solid shape - Seems to be from the 70s/80s

Adopted one of my dad's guitars which means I got a big upgrade to the temporary guitar I have been using these last years. Japan wouldn't strike one as a guitar country but their luthiers sure are pretty awesome.

Gave my guitar corner a lil upgrade with this picture shelf. Finally a space to put tuners, metronome etc. Now just need to figure out how to make the cable less messy 😂 dark season can come

I’ve almost completely stopped using guitar tuners. The imperfections of tuning by ear sound so much better I don’t think I can go back. It’s also really fun going between different types of tunings by ear

I recentlz saw @robin talk about out of tune guitar. Well this piece is played with kapo on first fret making it also sound a lil out of tune in a good way :D (Currently working on Capriccio Catalan by Albeniz)
