yesterday, ARDRP athlete Felipe Lacerda also took 3rd place at the Itacoatiara Big Wave, alongside Benito D’Agostin sharing the spot with Lucas Chumbo e Pedro Scooby.
stoked to see some of the pieces I made when I first became a gnarly athlete still alive and being used by good surfers and real people from the scene.
I’m also slowly leveling up my backside rail-grab barrels in switch stance. 😂 I’ve always wanted to surf that wave backside, but… it’s only a left.

received this shot from a local friend, "clickzeira" capturing a surf sesh this week at boca do rio.
surfing out there alone is always a serious call... freshwater pouring out, a few fins that definitely aren't dolphins... falling isn't really an option lol. asym goofy. 🦈 diamond model.
