In Brazil (and in most of the /globalsouth) it’s not uncommon to see children working. Deprived of their childhoods.
But you’ll see photos in history books of English factories employing children in the 1900’s and think “how could they do such thing”?
We’re on the same system. Nothing changed. Its issues just got transferred to other places.
