Fruity Freddy, so I've name it, because it's a fruit tree and I already named him Freddy for some reason.
I scared him off for two days when I last watered the plant and felt horrible. I kept telling my friends that I was worried a bird got him or he left forever and was sad.
Then he appeared out of nowhere and went back to his routine of destroying my plant. I felt a little relieved. I'm still going to yell at him to finish a leaf once he starts, even if he doesn't listen.
I won't rehome him as long as he doesn't eat so much that it kills my plant. TBD but in the meantime I'm glad my little friend is back.

I get now why slivovice (plum distillate) is so popular in Czechia.
I've never seen so many wild plum trees in my whole life!! They're of all different colours, from yellow to red to deep purple.
And they're all absolutely covered in fruit. We went on a walk to the local lake and the whole walk I was busy tasting all the different kinds of plums growing alongside the path.

41.000 VND ($1.58) for a bag of 7 (should have bought more!) - don’t get me started on how much these are in Taiwan, let alone the UK 😭
