Let's chat about Farcaster clients.
If you're a newbie, you're probably still using Warpcast on your phone.
It's currently the dominant way to access the Farcaster decentralized network protocol.
But it's not the only way.
There are several other "clients" - ways to access Farcaster - and more being developed all the time.
Each has their own way of presenting the feed - preferential algorithm, chronological, media only, etc.
Each also has their own subculture based on various features - @lolwildcard is heavily focused on tipping culture, especially with WILD, and you can get 500 wild tipping allowance just for signing up and using it.
@super is great if you have professional needs - scheduling and easy threaded posts are great there.
But there are others, and as you explore Farcaster, don't be afraid to try some or all of them to see what's right for you!

After just over a month on Farcaster, I have some advice for newbies:
If you just got here, breathe, it can be a bit overwhelming, but you don't have to learn everything at once.
First, you'll want a wallet. Coinbase Wallet, Rainbow, and MetaMask are good, there's lots of others, but those three seem to work really well with Farcaster, so they're safe bets. You'll probably end up with more than one in the long run, so doesn't so much matter which one you start with.
Moxie, Degen, Farther, Ham, WUT?
Don't stress. These are all tokens that you can earn in various ways that can be used to contribute to the community and the greater Farcaster economy, and they can also be held to see if their value rises, or cashed out when you really gotta pay a bill.
But if your focus is just on making those?
You're gonna suck at it.
So instead, focus on having fun and getting to know people. See what's here. Learn from people. Have great conversations.
The rewards will stack up.

Farcaster has a different culture and expectations than you see on other platforms. I like that. A lot. It's part of what keeps me here. I'm exhausted by the clickbait and polarization elsewhere.

If you stick around Farcaster long enough, you might eventually start getting tips in different tokens.

Another great cast I found early on after I arrived at Farcaster to help me understand what all that degen tipping meant!
Degen isn't the only tipping token used here, but it's one of the biggest and most common, and once you learn about one, you'll be craving the info on the others!

There's a LOT of stuff to learn about when you first enter the Farcaster ecosystem and start getting more of a grasp on crypto.
Here is a *great* article about liquidity pools, which are one way to put some of your crypto assets to work earning more for you.
