Checked out a Rivian R1S police car over the weekend at a Rivian event in Palo Alto.
They decked this thing out with police gear and were proudly showing it off.
Currently a 1/1 but hope they get some of these things into service!

Rivian R1S 1 month review:
Tomorrrow makes one month with the Rivian and the owner experience is getting better and better. I just bought out my lease so gonna have this thing long-term.
Still feel the same as my prior review with a few new pros. Excited to take this thing on a legit road trip!
✅ Google Maps navigation added to the infotainment in the most recent update.
✅ Regular over the air updates continue to make the ownership experience better
✅ Door handle lights that display the Rivian logo on the ground next to the car
✅ Car auto adjusts height depending on speed for max efficiency and ride quality
✅ Charged 1000 lumen flashlight in the drivers door

BYD is now the leading electric vehicle maker in Brazil. They represent 7 out of 10 EVs sold in the country, and now BYD is setting up a plant in Bahia on a site previously used by Ford.

this is not hyperbole. with those mach-e numbers they're losing between $35k - $130k per vehicle. this year they're losing ~$70k per vehicle
