Today was claw grinding, and xochi for the most part lets me with a little fight he learned from glitch, who hates anything nails and it's a life or death fight for her, mostly cause she hates being held down from whatever situation she was in before me years ago still.
Today I tried a different approach, instead of fighting with her at all, I ignored her. I did xochi, went and got him cheese, and then when glitch asked for cheese I said "no more free cheese, gotta let me grind them claws"
She was instantly so upset. She started faking puking angry and I said shut it, you either let me grind your claws or no cheese.
She then instead of fake puking started huffing behind me, so I grabbed the claw grinder and just kept turned it on saying cheese. She got super mad at this point and went into the bedroom.
About an hour later, she came out and sat next to me on the sofa. I ignored her for a few, and then turned to her and said are you ready for cheese??? and she let me trim and grind her front nails the easiest it's even been.
