Sick doggo has finally turned a corner (in a good way) after the past few days of increasing illness and one emergency vet visit She's finally had a little food today at lunch time and is getting some good decent restful sleep with her bunny toy 🙏 Ofc didn't help that last night was also hours of a thunderstorm 😂

Pepper used her carrot button 4 times yesterday. She’s only had the button for two days. She’s only supposed to have 3 baby carrots and two of the button pushes happened after she had already ate 3 😭. So now im cutting the carrots up as she asks for them because I don’t want to discourage her from using the buttons. She learned to use the buttons so quickly. She will tap it and quickly hop over to make sure I heard it or I’m watching. I was worried about introducing multiple buttons too quick but nope she’s got it.

xochi used to refuse to go in the kennel for a long time because of being abandoned in a box. Kennel training has been hard af. Eventually, I started to use peanut butter for training. It took a few weeks, but he started going in on first command easy peasy. I was so proud. Today, I opened the kennel after running errands and he refused to get out. I was confused now. I realized since I was going so quick to grab laundry, I didn't both to give him a treat to lure him him he went in so easy. I asked him if he wanted pb and that's why he wasn't getting out? He did a little nod to indicate yes. I got him pb carrott and he immediately got out of the kennel to eat it. My dog is too smart.
