i spent 3 hours looking for small cardboard boxes in marseille for a High-Value Shipment and found NOTHING. no one sells small boxes that are not papered over with stupid decorations.
NO ONE
so i had to make one myself

Started painting. Should be finished at the end of the weekend with two coats of pant.

DIY-STAND 🧵:
Assembled the bottom and upper frames with the uprights with dowels, glue and screws.
Load testing with the dumbbells weights while the glue dries.
Tomorrow I’ll mount the tray on top of the structure and have to buy some black paint.

What would be good, affordable wood I could find at lowes or home depot or similar to nail over the siding of my garage that would stand up over harsh winters and storms? The hole i need to cover is approximately 5 feet wide and 3 feet high so how much wood do i need; what type and length of nails do i need and how much shoulf i expect to spend on wood and nails and whatever else i should get? I have a hammer

Mounted all the frames and the tray. I’ll wait for the glue to fix and then it’s time for the uprights.
I discovered I really like to build physical stuff.

Repositioned all the parts on a flat surface to better take the measurements and started to experiment how I should splice the uprights.
I think I'll go for two dowels, glue and a long screw (as in the second pic).
Watching a lot of tutorials on YT 😅
