Played a charity Easter egg hunt XC tourney today. Got my 900 rated round, first ever (932)! And won MA3 with a -3, was so close to bogey free. One bogey on my 4th to last hole. Found a few eggs too for some free candy!

What a difference a week makes. Had our monthly tag match this weekend, shot -3 (with 7 birdies, so room to clean up some bad bogeys). First in MA3, but still lost 5 spots on the tag just because of who showed up (a lot of MPO that didn't have a tag yet pushed us down). Wasn't rated, so still chasing a 900 rated round. Gonna come soon, tho. Can feel it.

I sneak disc names into our test environment datasets at work. Today one showed up in our all company meeting presentation and it made me chuckle. No one else at the company knows how elite a Buzzz is hehe

Tournament nerves are real. Played one over the weekend at my home course shooting +2 and +1. My practice round before was -7 and my round yesterday as casual was -10. Granted these are the first 4 rounds I've played since hospital, but damn those nerves got me. Overturned shots sent OB, missed 15 footers, dumb layups.

I'm starting a small side hustle with 2 offerings: family focussed nature walks and toured rounds of disc golf. I need help with some business names. Im in the boreal forest of canadas subarctic if that inspires.
I know the geniuses on here are good at brainstorming names.

Played a new clubs bag tag at a course I havent played in like 3 years. I think i won MA3 at -1, should be tag ~20 depending what tags showed up!

They started up a new club at my local course. Had the first tag match today, pretty good turnout (~50-60 people). Finished 2nd in MA3 (tied for it) at -2, tag #17. Not too bad, had some tough rollaways, but finished with birds on 3 of the last 4

Doing a solo road trip to SF and back. Planning to play DeLaveaga and maybe Cachuma and some other top courses for the state!! Any spots I should stop in central CA?

I missed out on seeing world champ Ohn Scoggins play my home course this weekend as part of the SoCal Championships. I stayed home due to the rain, didn't even know she was playing in the event âšī¸

Market research: If you were on a trip, would you pay to have someone guide you on the local courses?
Would include any combination of the following:
a set of discs to play with, bag, snack, recommendation on which course and layouts match your skill and style, hole intros, scorekeeping, disc selection, form basics and feedback for beginners.
Crazy or is there something here?

Photo evidence. Beat in ESP Buzzz on backhand. Hole 18 at Brengle Terrace. Good ace run hole, but when you miss on backhand, it goes sailing down the little hill here and is gone. I usually forehand for the easier birdie. Glad I didn't yesterday.
