On one of my recent trips to Ikea, while descending the infrequently used, little known about customer stair well to avoid the often used, frequently over subscribed lift, I was startled to see someone lying down, apparently inert, on the cold probably-piss stained, definitely dirty concrete floor. I was about to rush to her aid or phone an ambulance, when, after taking a few more steps down, I noticed she wasn't injured, or dead, she was just lying there, completely of her own volition, watching something on her mobile phone.

Hard back copy of one of the books arrived. Cool thing to have. Need to change some of the formatting on the inside and re-release. Feels great to have something I've written on the bookshelf!

wasn't going to write anymore poetry, but themn I was cleaning our shelves the other day and got inspired. I don't have a lot of stuff but the stuff I have kept over the years, and the stuff that's important to my partner, we display on this heavy wrought iron bookcase her parents gave her we've lugged from property to property. The kids love hanging on to it and shaking the fuck out of it, and quite often things go flying. Anyway, this is up for collection for a day or so, and then i'll stick it on Zora if nobody wants it.

Apparently Amazon have delivered all of my books to the receptionist that doesn't exist in the building that I like in. No wonder the economy is in such a dire state if when you buy something now it doesn't even arrive. These were author copies of my own books as well, and I was dead excited about getting them. Now I'm just sad.
