these new works mean a lot to me. i received so much positive feedback about them. most people are liking this "new style." but the reality is that it isn't new at all. this is a heavy "back to the roots" moment for me. back to when i was 8, doodling in a notebook at school. just flowing and not thinking about the outcome at all. leaving all the pressure behind. just enjoying the process. trying to find love for the craft again.
i feel bad for not realizing earlier that this is what it's really all about: reconnecting with creating. and also for not fully understanding what artistry actually is, instead of being so worried about what others think of my work.
