Hi all! Sharing some community governance events happening each week where you can learn methods of collaborating in groups & attesting to each other's contributions through submitting votes on Ethereum. How it works? A soulbound Respect token gets distributed to players after each Respect game played. These events/games have been ongoing for 4 years, so it's building contribution rankings overtime used to govern the community & innovate in a decentralized way. It's a great experiment for DAO lovers because it allows you to show your work, learn about others' projects in a live environment, and develop ways to coordinate with others. Section 1.5 offers a brilliant provocation: "A truly autonomous car would be one where you request it to take you to work and it decides to go to the beach instead."

Paradigm shift from @kyngkai909 on last week's call: "We look at DAOs as governance solutions. But what if we just looked at DAOs as conflict resolution systems?" Early DAO tooling showed this - DAOs as dispute resolution mechanisms. That's what they really are: handling disputes between various groups of people. "Focus on them as conflict and dispute resolution systems - they allow for simpler and freer coordination." @thethriller added a @durgadas.eth reference: "DAOs often design for conflict resolution as the 25th priority when it's the core thing you're designing for. When there's no conflict, you hardly need the DAO technology system." This changes everything. Design for conflict resolution first, and governance flows from that.
