Apple should have global highlights where all of my highlights across macOS/iOS are shared and retrievable.
Notes app would be an easy home for it but I figure Siri integrations with Apple Intelligence will help detach it from any one app

Speed and product integration on their side. Especially if we start moving to AI-based OS beyond Apple Intelligence and Google’s Gemini strategy for Android and Chromebooks
Open source is still competitive. Current non-agi models will still have use at a good cost. It’s unknown how much even full o3 costs if we want to think about the future of other companies in the scenario agi emerges and the company behind it closes its access.

So, there you have it! That’s why there’s a capital letter right in the middle of our name. 😎
