Just discovered Rove, a new miles earning and booking platform They allow you to book flights and hotels as well as earn via shopping (browser extension, similar to Rakuten). They also have a network of transfer partners (mostly small ones) that you can transfer your miles to. Poked around a bit, sleek website. I like how they also show deals in terms of Β’ per mile value. Will keep an eye on it. www.rovemiles.com/?signup&referralCode=5VYUD6SE

New $795 Chase Sapphire Reserve We knew this change β€” which now makes it even more expensive than the Amex Platinum β€” was coming, here are the deets + my take: – no more 3x on all travel (time for Amex Green?) – new 4x on flights and hotels booked directly – $500 hotel portal credit (hard to use?) – $300 OpenTable credit (decent) – $300 DoorDash credit (nice) – $300 Stubhub credit (maybe useful?) – more benefits if you spend $75k annually (hard) – new Points Boost thing is kinda confusing – $300 travel credit, Global Entry, Priority Pass unchanged Overall probably a negative change for me but can still justify keeping the card based on the travel and DoorDash credit + probably some combo of OpenTable and Stubhub + earning on hotels What do you think? Would you get this new card? Will you be keeping it if you're already a cardholder?

Reward redemptions for airlines and hotels for this summer are the most open I have seen them since pre-Covid.

I'm anticipating a lot of travel this year and looking to get more serious about card/travel point accumulation - what are best US credit card options out there right now?

Booked flights for all 6 of us with these points yesterday, mission accomplished! Now to figure out if there's any viable way to book a vacation rental with points... it's not looking promising.

I can happily say that the Amex Platinum airline credit still works in 2025 with United Travel bank! $200 refunded already (4x$50 purchases) :)

Getting back into the churning game to accumulate Alaska miles and get the family out to Seattle this year. Seems like a great time because you can get 280k miles between Alaska and Hawaiian if you're playing 2 player mode across both cards.

Any recommendations for where to transfer Bilt points to for max value? Thinking the monthly transfer bonus they have with airline partners is the way to go, but suspect someone here may know better.

Waiting for Amex to link my ANA account and then waiting for the points to transfer over and hoping that the availability doesn’t disappear in the meantime 🀞🏻

5% cashback on all purchases is a sweet deal, seems to be a short-term incentive but would still definitely jump on this if I was in Europe Excited to see more providers experiment with credit card-like rewards to incentivize onchain consumer spending
