Deficit is still at -65%, 2.5 years after they rugged users by turning off their impermanent loss feature
Efforts to pay back the deficit have been null. Turns out you can’t reduce the deficit if the $BNT fees earned and price underperforms the deposited assets affected by IL. Withdrawing $LINK was the right choice.

Great Chainlink event in Bangkok led by @nonthakon discussing tokenized real world assets RWAs!
It'd be interesting to learn the method for calculating the size of tokenized RWAs. My estimate is that DeFi would be much larger currently considering all of Ethereum and it's layer 2s and all of the other alternative layer 1s.
I'm looking forward to learn more about Chainlink
- How CCIP will compare with @safe net validating actions across many networks
- Expansion of LINK staking pools
- How progressive decentralization compares with newer oracle protocols

If you don’t believe in oracles...All you have is a siloed playground of degens trading made up internet money.
Tokenization, real world assets, and interoperability will bring our space to the next level.

I wonder why some of these stats are still derived offchain
Can’t we use /chainlink onchain price oracle and do some math based on what’s in popular DEX LPs like /uniswap?
