After passing the Online Safety Act to protect kids from the accidental harms of the Internet, the Labour Party moves to ban VPNs.
Not just making the VPNs to store logs, but ban them altogether.
> She said: "My new clause 54 would require the Secretary of State to publish, within six months of the Bill's passage, a report on the effect of VPN use on Ofcom's ability to enforce the requirements under clause 112. If VPNs cause significant issues, the Government must identify those issues and find solutions, rather than avoiding difficult problems."
The Online Safety Act was passed in the name of protecting kids from accidental Internet harm. I am pretty sure none of those kids will install a VPN and then get harmed by an accident.
