We just launched an eth faucet for deploying contracts on EVM networks. AFAIK we're the only faucet giving out real mainnet ETH thanks to advanced anti-sybil protection (powered by zkTLS). I don't know if anyone still reads our channel in FC as we've moved most of the discussions to our TG group couple months ago. Anyways, here's an update on BringID: last week we soft launched the BringID extension with a demo airdrop app. You can try it at app.bringid.org, please share any feedback if you have one. We haven't posted about the launch publicly yet, only shared in our TG group. Somehow the app was discovered by an airdrop community. This was a really great test drive for our tech, as we got some good usage from the airdrop farmers: https://dune.com/bringid/bring-id The biggest result so far is not the numbers (they were incentivized anyway), but that we haven't been botted despite money sitting in the airdrop contract and real unique users are still able to claim tokens. I've been doing a small research on farming bot accounts. Sharing findings in our Bring TG chat. All existing proof-of-human solutions suck, it's easier to attack than defend. We have some ideas that i haven't seen anyone working on yet. Will share more in chat: https://t.me/bringid_chat

Our current status: - we're rewriting some parts of TLSN Extension to make adding new mpc-tls verifications easier to debug and add. - we're 90% there. - next steps are to choose verifications schemas which are wide enough so that people can test it and also sybil-resistant proof. - and we're ready to launch the MVP. Some ideas for the mpc-tls schemas we currently have: - at least one uber trip - at least one Airbnb/Booking.com stay - at least one device connected to an Apple ID - completed Binance KYC If anyone has ideas, please feel free to share here too!

BringID key properties: > verifiable privacy via cryptography: MPC-TLS and ZKPs > no government IDs (self-sovereign) > no hardware (scalable over Internet) > pluralistic identity (supports alt accounts)

We considered to launch a proof-of-human NFT. This would make UX and product much easier to integrate. But the problem with a global PoH NFT is that you force users to reuse the same address. This is obv bad for privacy. So, for the MVP we're going to launch with prove that you're human and claim bring tokens to an address (can be a fresh address). This way each new claim will have unlinkable proofs if you use different addresses to claim. We chose privacy over UX.
