This is so cool!
aetheros.computer lets you log in with your AT Proto account and access this simple web-based operating system. It's got a notepad, task manager, calendar, and more.
But that's not what makes it so cool.
What's really special is it's actually reading your PDS data, and you can go throught the file explorer and read every file that's on there! Here's the Standard Site entry that serves my blog post to all AT Protocol blog readers.

Nice little video demonstrating the many services you can connect to with your AT Protocol identity.
This is only a small subset of the actual services but there’s a lot here.
Multiple blogging sites (all of which synchronize with each other), a SoundCloud-like social music app, a git service, a news digest app, a media logging/rating app, and more.

My blog is officially syndicating to ATproto thanks to the standard.site lexicon. This is a blog hosted on a regular old server in Iceland, not on a PDS, and not on leaflet or pckt's own CMS.
These links just take you to my site unfortunatley, they dont create an RSS reader like experience, but it's still awesome!

Bluesky just launched Bandcamp embeds 🎵
They’re a little half baked:
↳ starting to play takes two taps
↳ it’s a page embed and you can kind of half scroll through the underlying page which is really janky
↳ scrolling away just ends the track like an autoplay video. In my opinion it would cool if the track kept playing with a little floating transport bar.
But, all that said, this is again them knowing what their audience is asking for: alternative/indie platforms, flexibility, and consent (you have to actively consent to any embedded media before it stars to work the first time)

I still think Bluesky is gonna add all the features crypto users want before any one blockchain based social network gains sufficient traction.
